What is a Low Noise Policy?
Derwent View Glamping is Situated, on Pow Hill Country park, therefore guests come here for a quiet, relaxing break. We do allow music but it must be kept to a minimum, so that your neighbours can not hear it. We ask that after 10pm talking is kept to a conversation level. We ask all guests to please adhere to this, allowing all guests to enjoy their stay at Derwent View.
Can I Bring My Dog To Derwent View Glamping?
We have one pod which we allow 2 small dogs or 1 medium dog, please contact site if you are not sure about your dog being allowed. There is a charge for dogs. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times, You must pick up after your dog.
Can We Use The Fire Pits?
Fire pits are free to use, but all wood must be purchased from our site, under no circumstances can you bring your own wood, disposable bbqs can be used, but must kept be on the hard standing. Fire pits must be emptied and left in the condition you find them.
Is There A Shower Block?
We have a heated shower block which is free to use, it has 3 wet rooms including a disabled one. but we do expect guests to keep it clean and tidy. There is an outside sink for washing up, and a washing machine to use for a small charge.
Are The Pods Heated?
Yes all our pods contain a heater, they are also insulated making them suitable for Summer or Winter.
What Time is Check in and Check Out?
Check in is 2pm until 6pm, if you are going to be arriving any later please inform the site. check out is 10.30am prompt.
What Cooking Facilities Are There?
There is strictly no cooking on decking or in the pods unless using microwave, you can hire a fire pit to cook on, or we have a communal pizza oven which can be used.
Is There Car Parking On Site?
You will be allocated 1 parking space per pod, unfortunately we can't guarantee that you will be able to have additional spaces, therefore you must park at pow hill country park, if more than one vehicle.
Are Gazebos allowed?
Unfortunately we do not allow any guest to bring their own tents or gazebos.
Can I bring my own charcoal and bbq?
We do allow you to bring your own charcoal for cooking, or a small bbq, but no gas bbqs are allowed
